Black Investor Professionals Forum

Building a stronger community of Black investment professionals

The need for gender and racial equity, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace is strong and growing stronger. McKinsey has spent years examining the barriers to equity and identifying solutions to building a stronger, more inclusive workforce.

The private market wields enormous influence on the economy, with private equity now controlling over $3.9 trillion in assets under management (AUM) across nearly 10,000 firms worldwide. By narrowing gender and racial inequities at these firms and their more than 45,000 portfolio companies, the industry has the opportunity to become a leader in the global economy for changing the face of business.

Our forum aims to help advance the careers of Black investors working in private markets by hosting a series of networking events and training initiatives.
